Dr. Ben L. Da, MD

Dr. Ben Da obtained his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School—Rutgers University. Afterwards, he completed his internal medicine residency training at the University of Southern California, gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship training at the National Institute of Health, and advanced fellowship training in transplant hepatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. After training, he joined the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Health as a faculty transplant hepatologist. Ben made the transition into industry as a director in clinical development for viral hepatitis at Gilead Sciences. He join the Merck Research Laboratory in 2024, where he is currently a senior director in global clinical development for MASH.
